The onsite oxygen generator installed by MVS Engineering
Pvt. Ltd is a lifesaver for numerous patients in several hospitals in India.
This company applies the technology of PSA or Pressure Swing Adsorption to make
this generator. Thus, this PSA oxygen plant
is a money-saver for users, as it creates pure oxygen from the surrounding air
without any other costly chemicals.
The oxygen plant takes air from the surrounding
environment, which normally comprises 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% of argon
and other gases. Thus, the job of this PSA
oxygen plant is to separate nitrogen from the air and produce only pure
oxygen. However, it is not possible to attain 100% purity in oxygen, as that
may not be safe for inhaling.
The PSA oxygen generator contains towers filled with pallets
of Zeolite or aluminium silicate, as nitrogen can be absorbed only by the
molecules of this microporous chemical. Thus, the air is compressed and pass
over to Zeolite beds so that nitrogen is absorbed while passing, leaving only
oxygen. This pure oxygen is stored in tank and supplied to hospitals bed by
pipeline.
Two Zeolite beds are placed in in Oxygen generator
package. So, if one bed is saturated with nitrogen, the second one can keep
functioning. Meanwhile, the first Zeolite bed is made free of nitrogen by
taking off the pressure exerted on it for nitrogen desorption. Therefore, the
PSA plant can work tirelessly to produce pure oxygen in hospitals.
Thus, the PSA
oxygen plant made by MVS Engineering is widely acclaimed in the healthcare
industry.
